My girlfriend came home last night, she said she was not going to work until they paid her the money they owed her.

She's right, not only do they owe her the extra hours she worked last month (The big boss himself refused to pay her above 900 euros. Why? He just doesn't want her to earn that more than that), it turns out her co-workers were getting the tip money customers paid for with card. At her job, they split both card and cash tips among workers who worked that shift.

She got the card tip money for a month or two when she first started, but then it just... stopped.

She thought that it was a new thing, everyone wasn't getting card tip money anymore. But no, that's not true.

I'm so angry on her behalf right now. It also makes me worry about moving to her country to work. This is the second restaurant she worked at that was happy to fuck her over somehow. Maybe it's just the restaurant industry there, but I'm apprehensive. I heavily distrust the outside.

Humans are horrible. Why... Why are people so willing to fuck each other over? Such horrible beings. I don't understand why children's books and all the things that adults teach to kids are so wrong. Growing up was learning that the bad guys win.
